(P.P.S. Lady, why you get mad at me for not selling TOYOTA parts at my MAZDA dealer? We HAVE a Toyota store 30 minutes from here, call and harass them. I'm busy editing dash cam videos!)

Eventually you instinctively slow for areas of known patrol. Squinting into the distance.. One 55 bottleneck here has a precisely placed cop-park place that is hidden with an offramp sign.. until it's too late. Sneaky DOT.

Yeah this was a new spot for a cop to hide out at. First day they close that ramp and he hides behind the barrels. Sneaky sneaky.

I mentioned this before but the enforcement by the Milw County Sheriffs deputies seem to have dramatically dropped off the past many years. I used to know where they always hung out on 43 and 94 (I'm rarely on 45/41) but they're never there anymore.

Thanks for the tip on 45/41 - I might have been caught. I'm usually doing 70 but I've learned the hard way to try to stay behind people and watch for those helpful brake lights!

No problem. I usually drive during peak hours so there's never any sheriffs because.... why bother? Everyone is stuck doing 25mph.

Saturdays I know better.... and I know where they hide when they ARE out. That and State Patrol up on 43 in Ozaukee. Come to think of it, I haven't seen one hiding on an on-ramp in awhile. Those are the SNEAKIEST of bastards.

In these parts 9 over is generally accepted as a safe speed to avoid cops. Several weeks ago some douche in a modified AMG with personalized plates blazed past me. About five miles later he was having a talk with the local extortion officer.
